Snorkeling

When you’re staying at a marine sanctuary, the obvious attraction is the coral and tropical fish life. We provide our guests with free use of snorkeling equipment so that you can make the most of the wonders at your doorstep. Wander off the shore to hand feed thousands of ‘tame’ fish, or join our daily snorkel safari to the fringing reef where you can see a variety of coral and marine life  in 2-4m of water. Every day at noon our dive barge transports guests to the outer reef.  A dive guide will accompany you in the water, while the boat and driver remain at the site while you snorkel.

Underwater Post Office

We are the home of the World Famous Underwater Post Office. Swim and snorkel a short distance from shore and post an underwater postcard to share your Hideaway experience with friends and family.

Glass Bottom Boat

Join one of our daily glass bottom boat trips around the surrounding reef.  This is a huge hit with swimmers and non-swimmers alike as they view the marine life through clear glass panels. Free for house guest.

Kayaking/Standup Paddle Boards

For those who’d rather rely on muscle power, we have ocean kayaks and paddle boards available free of charge for house guest use.
