• While snorkelling will give you a taste of what’s living beneath the turquoise waters surrounding Hideaway Island, any diver will tell you that to really see the reef, you have to be on SCUBA. If you’ve never tried it, but think you’d like to give it a go, try a SDI Scuba Discovery Dive Experience with one of our Dive Professionals.

• The Scuba Discovery Dive Experience lasts for around 2-3 hours. After a small amount of theory and briefing, one of our very experienced Diving Professionals will have you geared up and ready to learn some new skills either in the pool or in the clear warm almost current less shallows of our house reef. 
• After that, you'll be ready to explore some of the wonders that our Marine Sanctuary has to offer. From the hundreds of tropical fish and adorable little banded pipe-fish to the Mantis beautiful corals shrimp and Titan Trigger fish, you'll never want to leave the water.
